Hawaii wedding

In a majestic landscape with softly swaying palm trees, green grass and a cloudless blue sky, our couple T+J celebrated their wedding day in the warm Maui sun. An iconic and beautiful setting for a wedding, Maui provided the perfect weather for T+J’s beach wedding.

Upon arrival, we had two days to spend frolicking in the sun, enjoying the delicious food, local shops and of course, a small break to swim in the ocean and see turtles. It was a magical experience I’m not soon to forget, and it only got better at T+J’s wedding day drew closer.

T started her day out early with a visit from her makeup artist and hairstylist, the dress hanging to the side, waiting for its time to shine. T had decided on a beautiful strapless dress with mermaid type shape and sheer button up detail on her back. She paired this with an elegant updo, a veil and a simple flower headpiece, a little makeup to compliment her natural beauty, and stylish, champagne colored Jimmy Choo shoes. For the beach portion of her wedding, she changed into white wedge sandals, a little easier in the sand.

J had decided on a white suit and wing tip shoes, adding a pop of color with his light blue tie.

When the time finally came for the nuptials, the couple took to the beach with their friends and family and wed at near sunset as the waves rolled in gently and lapped at the sandy beach. Following the ceremony they all put on leis in celebration and had their photos taken as the sun slipped below the horizon.

The reception took place on a veranda and inside a beachside location; the couple and their family and friends had a lovely feast and danced the night away under the stars; a fairytale beginning to a happily married life.
