I am always honored when someone books me to be a part of their special day, but when my good friend D got married, I couldn’t wait to be the one to bring one of the most important parts of her life alive in photos for her.
I couldn’t imagine a more perfect setting for D and E’s wedding; set outside, a small, lace trimmed arbour was set up on the grass overlooking a beautiful lake with light pink and blue paper lanterns strung behind it. D wore an elegant strapless white wedding gown with beading and a floral design throughout and buttons lining the back of the dress; her hair was styled into curls, pulled back from her face and left to drape over her shoulders, adorned with three white roses.
Her seven bridesmaids wore bright teal colored dresses, accented with a small bouquet of white roses and the groomsmen (seven of them too; talk about a large wedding party!) wore bowties to match the ladies dresses, as well as checkered shoes in white and blue. The junior bridesmaids and flower girls looked adorable in their pink and white dresses, perfectly complimenting D’s bridal bouquet.
Following the ceremony, D+E posed for many photos with their wedding party and one another alone before heading to the large tent where their reception would be taking place. Adorned with more blue and pink paper lanterns and with a full wood dance floor, everyone had dinner and heard some wonderful speeches before lighting up the dance floor. There were glowsticks and hats that read PARTY galore as the evening wore on, the happy couple able to spend ample time with their friends and family while taking time out to bust a move on the dance floor or share a kiss for the camera.
Congratulations to D and E on their wonderful wedding day! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
