M+S

I had a fantastic time shooting M & S’s wedding. Not only were the moments so easy to capture with the couples love so easily exuded in every photograph of them together, but the church they were married at as well as their wedding reception were stunning places that architecturally begged not to be ignored.

The day started with the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready; the color chosen for the bridesmaids was a bright pink, a color that popped easily in every photo and brought the air of the summertime into every shot. The brides dress was a strapless and fitted with an elegant lace patterning that continued up over the shoulder to do up at the back with four buttons. The rest of the brides back was bare, the dress scooping beautifully near the small of her back. Her hair was up and adorned with a flower and a long, dainty veil, and she carried a large bouquet of white and cream colored flowers.

The first look from her husband to be as she came down the steps to greet him with a tap on his shoulder was priceless. He smiled from ear to ear, capturing her hand with his own and brought it to his mouth to give a gentle kiss to the back of her hand before embracing her for a long kiss.

From there we headed to the church for the ceremony where many friends and family filled the pews and watched the two exchange their vows. From the organ loft I was able to snap some overhead photos, really giving a look of grandeur to the ceremony.

Following the ceremony it was off to the reception, which was simply decorated, not needing much with such a large, elegant domed ceiling as the main attraction in the room. From here the new bride and groom shared sweet kisses, their first dance and cut the cake before hitting the dance floor to party the night away.

Congratulations!
