I had a fantastic time shooting A & T’s wedding from beginning to end. I had the opportunity to share the morning with the bride as she got ready with her bridesmaids, getting her hair and makeup done and getting dressed for the big day. Sometimes weddings can be stressful for brides, but she couldn’t wait to see her fiancee!
Her dress was stunning; a strapless gown with silver rhinestone accents and rouching at the bottom of the dress, the bride accented her appearance with simple makeup, long curls and a sparkling headpiece, as well as bright red high heels. She was so excited to see her fiancee she couldn’t keep the smile from her face, all while the anticipation of seeing his bride-to-be was making his heart race.
When they saw one another for the first time, tears began to slip from the groom’s eyes, overwhelmed with happiness. After getting a couple of photos, we headed to their completely picturesque ceremony spot; they couldn’t have had more perfect weather! Set on a sprawling lawn in front of a lake, the sun shone brightly on the couple and their guests as they exchanged their vows.
After the ceremony and some photos set amid the stunning backdrop of nature, the bride changed into another white dress, this one a shorter cocktail dress adorned with rhinestones for some sparkle. From there we gathered their families for some more photos, taking in the scenery before heading inside for the reception.
The color of the evening was a rich purple, seen in accents on the tables. There was an indulgent sweets buffet where guests that were craving some chocolate could get their fill in.
After capturing some stunning photos of the scenery at sunset, everyone hit the dance floor to dance the night away, sharing drinks, memories, smiles and laughs as two families became one.
